Seeking a BE/BC Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join a highly regarded community practice.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of experience in either an employed or private practice setting, with expertise in complex aortic disease, aortic valve repair and replacement, including complex open and endovascular aortic procedures, as well as cardiothoracic surgery focusing on catheter-based and minimally invasive treatments for heart valve disease and heart failure.

- The current cardiovascular practice includes two experienced Cardiovascular Surgeons with over 40 years of combined clinical experience.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop and advance a team-oriented cardiology/cardiovascular service line that meets community needs and provides high-quality care. Aim to develop benchmarks that exceed patient expectations and position the health system in the top 10 percentile for clinical quality, patient safety, and patient experience.
- Assess market trends within primary and secondary service areas to identify service gaps and opportunities for growth.
- Stay updated on national trends in Cardiovascular Surgery to ensure access to the latest advanced therapies.
- Participate actively in research protocol development and analysis.
- Engage in Medical Staff and Administrative committees to improve care, outcomes, and service line performance.
- Maintain competency standards as set by the ACC/STS.
- Foster teamwork through collaboration with medical staff, nursing, administration, and other healthcare team members.
- Build professional relationships with referring Primary Care Physicians and Cardiologists in the community.
- Collaborate with other physicians to promote positive clinical outcomes, improve processes, and support research.
