Job summary

The Hawaii Permanente Medical Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced, Board Certified Thoracic Surgeon for its Kaiser Moanalua Medical Center in Honolulu, HI.

Position highlights include full-spectrum adult thoracic surgery with 10–12 cases per month, a predictable call schedule, robust PA-C and Hospital Medicine support, a healthy work-life balance, and excellent benefits. Hawaii Permanente offers an hourly rate of up to $310.

Qualifications

• Board Certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery (ABTS).
• Thoracic Surgery fellowship trained preferred.
• 2-5 years of experience required.
• Advance skills in invasive VATS and robotic surgery for both malignant and benign thoracic diseases is a plus.
• Must commit to a full-time schedule for a minimum of 3-months.

Responsibilities

• Full spectrum adult thoracic practice with an overall volume of 10-12 cases per month.
• Manage elective and urgent thoracic cases.
• Robust PA-C and Hospital Medicine support with prepped rounds.
• Predictable call schedule to promote work-life balance.
