Midwest Facial Plastics Surgery is seeking a personable and organized individual with strong interpersonal and customer service skills to join our team as a Surgery Scheduler. Ideal candidates are those looking to develop their guest services skills, whether from healthcare or the beauty, aesthetic, and cosmetic industries.

Responsibilities
  • Schedule patients accurately and efficiently for surgical procedures, ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
  • Enter all demographic information correctly and verify or obtain prior authorizations as needed; document procedures in the practice management system.
  • Schedule post-operative appointments and provide basic patient education.
  • Provide patients with all necessary information regarding their procedures.
  • Collect cash payments for cosmetic procedures at booking.
  • Coordinate with hospitals, surgery centers, physicians, and patients regarding schedules.
  • Stay updated on insurance requirements and adhere to guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience in scheduling or sales, preferably in healthcare or aesthetics.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license.
