The Scheduler coordinates pediatric and adult surgeries, confirms times with surgeons, and supports insurance verification when needed. Strong communication and organization are essential.

The Front Desk Receptionist interfaces with patients and families, physicians, vendors and staff. Admit patients and process their paperwork. Update patient demographics/information in system. Collect balances due and document in the billing system. Handle funds per office procedure. Answer incoming phone calls. Assist with insurance verification. The Surgery Scheduler is responsible for scheduling pediatric and adult patients for the surgery center and assists with insurance verification when needed. The Surgical Scheduler must display excellent telephone etiquette as he/she manages calls of utmost importance to providing quality and continuity of individual patient care.
