Southern Illinois Neurosurgery Opportunity

• Exciting opportunity for a Neurosurgeon to join a rapidly growing practice at Southern Illinois Hospital's Brain and Spine Center.

  • Neuro-trained Neuro Critical Care Physicians take primary call 24/7 for all Neurosciences, involving physicians at appropriate times, allowing Neurosurgeons to focus on surgical patients.
  • Onsite Physical Therapy for rehabilitation referrals, a competitive salary, and state-of-the-art equipment including an Angi Suite/Hybrid OR.

Qualifications for this opportunity:

• Completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited Residency in Neurological Surgery.
• Current certification in Neurological Surgery by the American Board of Neurological Surgery or the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery, or equivalent.
• Board certification must be achieved within five years of eligibility to take the exam.
• Clinical Experience: Documentation of providing neurological surgery services (50 cases) in the last 24 months, or waived for recent graduates.
