Nashville Veterinary Specialists

Position: Licensed Veterinary Technician - Surgery Team

Location: Nashville, TN

Compensation: $21 - $38/hr, based on experience and skills assessment

Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week, rotating on-call

Training: Completion of anesthesia training through NVS and passing written and practical exams

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 3 years of veterinary technician experience, preferably in Specialty, Emergency, or Critical Care; LVMT, CVT, LVT, or RVT license required
• Strong understanding of veterinary basics including triage, disease, pharmacology, restraint, diagnostics, anesthesia, and lab procedures
• Advanced skills in anesthesia monitoring, surgical support, and medication management
• Attention to detail and strong communication skills with clients and team members
• Fluent English; multilingual skills a plus

Physical/Environmental Requirements:
