General Surgery Position at Top-Ranked Public Hospital in Palm Beach County, FL

Our client is seeking a General Surgeon to cover services at a top-ranked public hospital in Palm Beach County, FL. This is a year-round position with attractive financial incentives and flexible practice arrangements.

1. Position Details:
2. Cover the General Surgery service at the Medical Center, with additional duties including hospital rounds and emergency surgeries.
3. Expect to earn approximately $350,000 annually, including a $200,000 stipend provided by the client and 100% of billings. Previous physicians have earned an additional $150,000 through billings and hospital procedures.
4. Additional financials are available and will be discussed with the client.
5. The hospital is rural, with call duties limited to emergency surgeries and post-op consultations.
6. You may maintain your own practice, preferably in Wellington or nearby, and be available for emergency and scheduled surgeries at the hospital—primarily rounds and procedures, not full-day commitments.
7. Malpractice insurance is not included.
8. Some days may involve minimal activity, mainly follow-up rounding and basic procedures.
9. Must reside within 30 minutes of the hospital.
