General Surgery Opening - Warsaw, NY

Community health center seeking BE/BC General Surgeon to join its practice in Warsaw, NY.
Full-service, County-owned health system located in Warsaw, NY. It includes a 62-bed acute-care hospital with an attached 138-bed Skilled Nursing Facility. The health system offers inpatient and outpatient diagnostic, acute, ambulatory, and behavioral health services. It is the only hospital in the county and the only comparable facility within a 35-mile radius.
There are 25 employed physicians across ten clinics providing primary and specialty care. Over the past 10 years, the Medical Group completed a $32M expansion, including a 12,000 sq ft addition with an Emergency Department, Lobby, Patient Registration, Laboratory Draw Stations, Waiting Area, and Pre-Admission Testing.
Renovations have been made to the maternity floor, skilled nursing facility, ambulatory surgery unit, and other support departments. The Medical Group has grown with new providers and fosters a collaborative, friendly, rural healthcare environment. Providers include primary care, orthopedic, podiatry, cardiology, nephrology, OB-GYN, and general surgery.
The health system maintains a partnership with Erie County Medical Center (ECMC), a 573-bed Level 1 Adult Trauma Center and regional hub for burn care, behavioral health, transplantation, oncology, rehabilitation, and teaching for the University at Buffalo. This relationship provides access to subspecialists for higher acuity cases.
Wyoming County, known for Letchworth State Park, one of the largest and most scenic parks in the eastern U.S., which has won the USA TODAY Readers Choice Award for Best State Park five years in a row. The area also features Silver Lake and proximity to the Finger Lakes Region.
