General Surgery opening in Sioux City, IA

Job Description:
  • Established General Surgery practice
  • Flexible schedule to meet provider's needs
  • Current team: 3 Physicians, 2 APPs
  • Competitive compensation and benefits package including sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, 401k with employer match, etc.
  • Experienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical, who know the patients extremely well
  • Fully staffed team of RNs and CMAs
  • Clinic and OR located on the same campus
  • Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination
  • Average patients per day: 12 in clinic and 3 in OR
  • 5 half days in clinic with OR time scheduled as needed
  • Trauma call shared with three other physicians
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities served
  • Provide the best outcome for every patient, every time
Qualifications:
  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified
  • Hold an unrestricted license to practice medicine in Iowa
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Ability to work as a team member

  • 21-bed emergency room
  • Leading-edge diagnostic and interventional care, including EP and Cardiac Cath Labs
  • Hospitalist Program
  • Open 18-bed ICU
  • Rehabilitation Services for inpatients and outpatients
  • Comprehensive Radiology Services including MRI and CT
  • Inpatient and outpatient GI services in state-of-the-art labs
  • Level 2 NICU and full-service OB/GYN unit
  • New surgical suites with full services and EPIC EMR
