Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon Opportunity in Saginaw, MI

Located in middle Michigan, our state-of-the-art facility is actively seeking a highly motivated Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join and expand our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, showcasing a commitment to providing excellent patient care. With a team of experienced professionals, we focus on delivering high-quality medical services to the Great Lakes Bay Region.

Job Responsibilities:

• Join a fellowship-trained, BC/BE Orthopaedic Trauma Surgeon and a team of 10 physicians.
• Provide specialized care for polytrauma, acute fractures, and complex joint injuries.
• Manage conditions such as nonunion, malunions, and bone infections.
• Participate in approximately 4 calls per month for patient care.
• Utilize advanced technology including access to Stryker MAKO robot.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for exceptional patient care.
• deliver comprehensive pre- and post-operative care.
• Maintain excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and staff.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery from ABOS.
• Fellowship-trained in Orthopaedic Trauma.
• 2+ years of work experience in Orthopaedic Trauma preferred.
• Active Michigan license (or in process of obtaining) highly preferred.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible from ABOS.
• Fellowship training in Orthopaedic Trauma is required.
• A Michigan medical license is preferred.
