Job Opportunity: General and Trauma Surgery Physician

Join a dynamic team at a level III trauma center located in the heart of Russellville, Arkansas. This facility is dedicated to providing high-quality care and is seeking a dedicated physician to provide ongoing coverage for one weekend per month. The practice setting focuses on inpatient care, with a structured schedule from 7 AM to 7 AM.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Provide surgical care for general and trauma cases.
2. Participate in ongoing coverage as needed for one weekend per month.
3. Respond to call duties in a timely manner, with a response time of 30 minutes.
4. Manage an average of 6-8 patient encounters per shift, including phone consultations.
5. Rounding on assigned patients and ensuring their surgical needs are met.
6. Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to provide excellent patient care.

Qualifications:

• Board certification in General Surgery or Trauma Surgery (eligibility considered).
• Active and clean physician license in Arkansas.
• Experience in inpatient surgical settings preferred.
• Fellowship training is a plus.
• Ability to handle surgical emergencies and perform necessary procedures.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to patient care.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active Arkansas medical license.
• Board certification preferred; eligibility acceptable.
