Opportunity for General Surgeon in Southeast Texas

Our client in southeast Texas is actively seeking a General Surgeon to join their team. This is a hospital-employed position offering a competitive salary, RVUs, and a full benefits package.

The location is just 90 minutes from downtown Houston, situated in a coastal community with a lower cost of living and abundant outdoor recreation. Robotics are available, including the DaVinci Robot, which is accessible for surgical procedures.

The hospital currently has two independent surgeons; the most senior is aging out in the coming years. The call schedule is 1:4. While a focus on colorectal surgery would be ideal, candidates with a broad scope of abilities are welcome.

The successful candidate will join a single W2-employed General Surgeon. The community offers a small-town feel but is part of 'The Golden Triangle,' encompassing Beaumont, Port Arthur, and Orange. The hospital's primary service area has an approximate population of 125,000, with about 350,000 residents in the broader area.
