Tenet Healthcare is actively seeking a general surgeon to join a private practice group founded in 1984 in the Phoenix Metro area. This is a multi-specialty (Board Certified Surgeons) General Surgery group in private practice with highly skilled physicians in Advanced Robotic Procedures. The group currently has 10 Surgeons and 2 APPs working in the Phoenix Area and is looking to expand to support the community's needs.

Highlights:

1. Typical Work Week Schedule: Monday-Friday (approximately 50 hours)
2. Inpatient/Outpatient/Rounding: 2 half-day clinics per week, daily patient rounds. Aim for a 50/50 inpatient/outpatient balance.
3. Census & Volume: New providers start with 1-2 half-day clinics a week; volume and patient needs will influence schedule. Surgery volume varies; includes inpatient, hospital call, ER consults, and outpatient procedures.
4. Call: 5 primary calls and 1 backup call per month, with additional stipend paid after exceeding the base amount, per policy.
5. Equipment/Resources Available: Da Vinci Robot
6. Ancillary Staff: APPs, MAs, Schedulers, Surgery schedulers

Candidate Requirements:
