Job Description:

The hospital in southern Ohio is seeking a minimally invasive spine surgeon capable of taking general call to join their rapidly growing, comprehensive neuroscience institute. The new candidate will enjoy a robust clinical practice and an academic appointment. The position includes:

• 20-bed Neuro-ICU with 24-hour neurocritical care service
• Protected time for research, including basic science, translational, and clinical research
• Case mix of approximately 85% spine and 15% cranial cases
• Elective case mix at the surgeon's discretion, supported by providers' clinic APPs
• A robust employed referral network with primary care providers in-network

Call responsibilities are 1/7 with robust APP coverage, including in the OR, rounding, consults, orders, and notes. APPs provide 24/7 in-house coverage, serving as the first call.
