LOCUM COVERAGE ASSESSMENT

• Reason for Locum need: Vacancy Maternity/Paternity
• Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinic Hours + Call
• Locum Coverage duration: Short-term (3-6 months)
• Specific shift type: Inpatient
• Expected amount of time in Hospital: 2-4 hours per day of rounding, and remaining hours on-call with call-back obligations.
• Call Response Time: 20 mins
• Temp Privileges granted: Yes with clean files and an active license
• Start Date: January 1, 2025

PROGRAM DETAILS

• Patient Volume: 3-4 consults/10 pts. on rounds
• Support Staff: Hospital staff only
• Solo or other surgeons on staff: Solo on call
• Bed Count: 205
• Shift Times / Coverage Details: Call - 7a-7a. URGENT need for Jan through Jan 5th for call then ongoing needs for call and some clinic. Also need: January 13th, 15th, 20th, 21st, 23rd, 27th, 29th and 30th.
