Job Opportunity: General Surgeon

A 25-bed critical access hospital in the White Mountains region of New Hampshire is seeking to add a General Surgeon to our team of 2 Surgeons. About the Position:

• Seeking a Physician with the broad scope typical of a rural, community surgeon
• Provide office-based general surgery services to patients of all ages, including consultations, minor procedures, patient education, diagnostic testing, referrals, and communication with PCPs
• Clinical support from a medical assistant
• Perform operative (open and laparoscopic) and endoscopic procedures
• High-volume endoscopy practice
• Four-day work week
• Ten days of call per month
• Affiliated with a larger health system comprising four medical facilities

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary in the $500,000 range
• Five weeks of vacation, five sick days, and six holidays annually
