We are seeking a qualified Locum General Surgeon to start ASAP for ongoing coverage near Somo, KY.

Schedule & Call Responsibilities

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with rotating call duties alongside another onsite surgeon.
• Call Type: In-House.

Qualifications & Practice Details

• Supervision: Required for advanced practice providers.
• Privileges: Hospital and surgery center privileges required.
• Practice Setting: Outpatient and inpatient.
• Fellowship: Preferred.
• EMR Systems: Athena and MediTech.
• Licensing: Must be licensed in KY or IMLC.
• Certifications: ACLS and BLS.

Additional Information

• Credentialing: Approximately 30 days.
• Referral Bonus: $500 for any referral whose provider works 30 days.
• Compensation: Competitive hourly pay, with premiums for weeknight and weekend call when called in, plus housing, car rental, gas, mileage (own vehicle), parking, tolls, baggage fees, and malpractice insurance with tail coverage.
