Barton Associates is seeking a skilled Plastic Surgeon for a locum tenens position in North Carolina. This 36-day assignment begins on 07/11/2025, with potential for extension. The physician will work 24-hour shifts from Friday through Monday, 7am to 7am. The role focuses on complex facial trauma reconstruction for both adults and pediatrics, including soft tissue and skeletal work, as well as complex upper extremity trauma reconstruction. This inpatient-only position offers strong OR and specialist support, with no ICU duties or code responses required. The ideal candidate should be actively involved in reconstructive plastic surgery practice and comfortable using Epic EHR.

Job Details:

Location: North Carolina

Start Date: 07/11/2025

LOA: 36 days (with potential for extension)

Provider Type Needed: Plastic Surgeon

Schedule: Friday-Monday, 7am-7am (24-hour shifts)

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform complex facial trauma reconstruction for adults and pediatrics

• Conduct soft tissue and skeletal reconstruction of full face, upper, mid-face, and mandible

• Provide coverage for cranial defects

• Execute complex upper extremity trauma reconstruction, including soft tissue work

• Collaborate with trauma, neurosurgery, and general surgery specialists

• Utilize Epic EHR for patient management and record-keeping

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care

• Adhere to all safety protocols and industry best practices

Additional Information:

• Must be licensed to practice medicine in North Carolina

• Active involvement in reconstructive plastic surgery practice required

• Experience with complex facial and upper extremity trauma reconstruction essential

• Familiarity with Epic EHR preferred

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills necessary
