COLORECTAL SURGICAL ONCOLOGIST
BANNER MD ANDERSON CANCER CENTER, PHOENIX, AZ
The Division of Surgery at Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center (BMDACC) is actively recruiting for a Surgical Oncologist with interest and expertise in colorectal cancer to join our team on the Banner Gateway Medical Center campus and at additional facilities in the Phoenix metropolitan area. BMDACC seeks an exceptional clinician with proven skills and values to help grow our colorectal cancer and HIPEC programs. Candidates should have excellent clinical training and experience working with multidisciplinary teams. Qualified candidates are required to be board certified/eligible and possess the following qualifications:
Surgical Oncology fellowship training
Experienced with multidisciplinary colorectal cancer care
HIPEC experience
Robotics experience preferred
Academics experience desired
The Division of Surgery currently includes more than 35 clinicians who provide outstanding surgical care for patients with all types of malignancies. Designed with experts from The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center , the center has an evidence-based design and state-of-the-art technologies including advanced surgical tools and advanced treatment capabilities. The candidate will be expected to lead a highly integrated team of surgeons and interface closely with the multidisciplinary cancer program. An active clinical research program has also been established, and this individual will be encouraged to promote growth in research activities.
