The U.S. Air Force offers the Financial Assistance Program (FAP) to help pay for your medical residency. You will receive a high-quality education, practice medicine without the bureaucracy, and serve around the world in your chosen profession. Careers in this field include Family Practice Physician, Psychiatry, and Emergency Medicine.
The Financial Assistance Program offers:
More than $45,000 per year of participation and a stipend of over $2,700 monthly to cover living expenses.
Upon completion of your residency, you will have a one-year service obligation for each year of participation, plus an additional year.
