Join Our Orthopaedic Surgery Team in Beautiful Brattleboro, VT!

Brattleboro Memorial Hospital, located in the heart of the stunning Green Mountains, is searching for a dedicated and experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon to become a vital member of our thriving Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine team. With a focus on either hand or foot and ankle surgery, you will have access to state-of-the-art robotic surgical technology and enjoy a balanced lifestyle in this vibrant community.

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive orthopaedic care, specializing in hand or foot and ankle surgery.
• Work in a hospital-based outpatient clinic environment.
• Treat a diverse range of musculoskeletal conditions, referring complex cases as necessary.
• Utilize cutting-edge MAKO robotic surgical technology in dedicated orthopaedic OR suites.
• Collaborate with a supportive team of 3 Orthopaedic Surgeons and 4 Physician Assistants.
• Average caseload of 25+ patients per day.
• Participate in a 1:4 general ortho call rotation.
• Use Cerner Community Works as the EMR platform.
• Enjoy dedicated OR block time and opportunities for clinical growth.

Qualifications:

• Board certified or board eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery.
• Experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active Vermont License (must be obtained prior to start).
• American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS) Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• Subspecialty Certificate: Surgery of the Hand or Foot and Ankle (highly preferred).
• Current CPR and BLS certification (must be obtained prior to start).
• Active DEA license (must be obtained prior to start).
• Clean malpractice history required.
