Job summary

Alpheva is seeking a senior surgeon to support AI evaluation projects on surgical indications, perioperative planning, complications and follow-up. This is a remote, project-based contract role with hours and assignments that vary by project.

The expert will review model responses, identify evidence gaps, and justify corrections with traceable surgical reasoning. You will also write reference answers and scoring criteria grounded in clinical practice.

Qualifications

• Licensed surgeon with board certification or equivalent.
• Proven track record in evaluating surgical indications and perioperative planning.
• Ability to write precise reference answers and justify corrections with evidence.

This is remote, project-based contract work. Scope, hours, and assignments depend on project matching; the listed hourly range applies to matched work.

Requirements

• Current relevant professional license and 7+ years of experience in licensed surgical practice.
• Demonstrated senior-level judgment in surgical indications, perioperative planning, complications, and follow-up, with substantial responsibility for reviewing or delivering this work.
• Ability to write precise reference answers, assess competing approaches, and justify corrections with traceable evidence.

Pay

$160-$210/hr
