Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least two years of experience as a Veterinary Technician preferred.
• Proficiency in anesthesia monitoring, venipuncture, laboratory procedures, radiology, and dentistry.
• Basic computer skills, including practice management software and MS Office.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and handle animals up to 130 pounds.
• Maintain professionalism and good judgment in high-stress situations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to hospitalized patients, including IV catheter placement and monitoring.
• Provide anesthesia monitoring and recovery care during procedures.
• Assist veterinarians during exams, diagnostics, treatments, and surgeries.
• Conduct laboratory tests and document results.
• Operate radiology and ultrasound equipment safely.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments per hospital policy.
• Maintain medical records, charge entry, and chart audits.
