Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least two years of veterinary technician experience preferred.
• Proficiency in anesthesia monitoring, venipuncture, lab diagnostics, radiology and dentistry.
• Basic computer skills including practice management software and MS Office.
• Strong communication and teamwork within a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to hospitalized patients and monitor daily status.
• Assist with anesthesia, surgery prep, monitoring, and recovery care.
• Support veterinarians during examination, diagnostics, and procedures.
• Perform laboratory tests and document results accurately.
• Operate radiology and ultrasound equipment following safety standards.
• Administer medications and manage controlled substances per policy.
• Maintain medical records, charge entries, and patient education.
• Keep spaces clean, stocked, and compliant with hospital policies.
