Fargo, North Dakota, Surgical Critical Care Trained Surgeon Job

Clinical Role:

1. Join a busy full spectrum general surgery practice: including laparoscopic, robotic, trauma, breast, vascular, and colorectal cases.
2. Growing practice with 6 surgeons, 3 General Surgery NPs, and 1 Wound Care NP. NPs assist in the OR, provide post-op care, and round in the hospital.
3. Planning to transition to an acute care surgery service for day call, with possible 2 weeks of ACS coverage.
4. Opportunity for dedicated critical care time.
5. Level II Trauma Center at a single location for clinic and hospital.
6. Potential to become Trauma Medical Director.
7. Hospital is a 5-star CMS rated facility for Quality, with 132 private rooms.
8. Benefits include vacation, CME (to be determined if ACS model), malpractice coverage, CME allowance, and relocation package.
9. Qualifications include Board Certification/Eligibility in Surgical Critical Care, BC/BE in General Surgery, and ATLS certification.
