Job summary

Green Key Resources is seeking a Surgery Center Nurse Director in the Phoenix metro area to lead clinical operations and nursing excellence at a state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery center. You’ll establish the nursing culture, protocols, and team structure for an orthopedic-focused facility, collaborating with medical staff to ensure seamless perioperative care and optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• AAS in Nursing required.
• RN licensure in Arizona or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Minimum 3–5 years as Director of Nursing or Nurse Manager.
• Experience in orthopedic operating room nursing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ASC regulatory, accreditation, and compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated leadership and team-building capabilities.
• Proficiency with electronic health records and surgical scheduling systems.
• CNOR certification preferred.
• Local residency in the Phoenix metropolitan area is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement nursing policies, protocols, and guidelines aligned with industry standards.
• Recruit, hire, and onboard nursing team members, including RNs and surgical technologists.
• Manage nursing operations, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Oversee patient care, safety, and satisfaction throughout the surgical continuum.
• Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesia staff to optimize surgical workflows.
• Ensure compliance with CMS, state licensing, and accreditation standards.
• Lead quality assurance metrics and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Facilitate orientation and ongoing clinical education for perioperative staff.
• Act as a liaison between nursing, administration, and medical staff.
