Job summary

United Surgical Partners International (USPI), the nation’s largest ASC platform, is seeking a Surgery Center Administrator for Bear Creek Surgery Center in Keller, TX. The administrator will oversee daily operations, financial performance, quality initiatives, and physician relationships.

Ideal candidate has ASC leadership experience or hospital surgical leadership with ASC exposure; requires at least three years in senior healthcare management, with strong communication and budgeting skills.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum of three years in senior admin or healthcare management.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily facility operations across administrative, clinical, and business functions.
• Serve as liaison with Governing Board, Medical Staff, leadership, and USPI Home Office.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, quality, and safety standards.
• Develop and manage operating, staffing, and capital budgets.
• Oversee staffing, performance management, and workforce planning.
• Support physician relationships and credentialing processes.
• Manage vendor, service, and physician contracts.
• Support quality improvement, infection control, and patient experience initiatives.
• Participate in operational reviews and facility performance reporting.
• Identify opportunities for service line development and operational improvement.

United Surgical Partners International, the country's largest ASC platform is currently seeking a Surgery Center Administrator for Bear Creek Surgery Center.

Bear Creek Surgery Center is in Keller, TX. Our facility is accredited by the Joint Commission. Bear Creek Surgery Center is a facility in which physicians have an ownership or investment interest. This facility has 2 OR’s and 1 PR. Our state-of-the-art equipment allows surgeons to perform procedures in the specialty areas of Hand, Orthopedics, Pain Management, Podiatry, and Joint Replacement.

The ideal candidate for this role will either have Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) leadership experience or hospital surgical leadership experience with ASC exposure.

Job Summary

The Administrator is responsible for facility operations, financial performance, quality initiatives, and physician relationships while ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. The Administrator collaborates closely with facility leadership, medical staff, governing boards, and USPI’s Home Office to support consistent operations and sustainable performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily facility operations, including administrative, clinical support, and business functions
• Serve as liaison between the Governing Board, Medical Staff, facility leadership, and USPI Home Office
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, quality, and safety standards
• Develop and manage operating, staffing, and capital budgets
• Monitor financial performance and address operational risks
• Oversee staffing, employee performance management, and workforce planning
• Support physician relationships, credentialing processes, and medical staff coordination
• Manage vendor, service, and physician contracts
• Support quality improvement, infection control, and patient experience initiatives
• Participate in operational reviews and facility performance reporting
• Identify opportunities for service line development and operational improvement

Experience

• Experience working closely with physicians and clinical leadership
• Experience with fully managing a budget and hitting/exceeding financial goals in a healthcare leadership position
