United Surgical Partners International, the country’s largest ASC platform, seeks a Surgery Center Administrator for Paso Del Norte Surgery Center in El Paso, TX. This role leads day-to-day operations and partners with physicians, staff, and governing boards to drive clinical quality and operational excellence.

The Administrator oversees finances, budgets, accreditation compliance, and strategic initiatives, ensuring patient experience and staff development align with USPI standards and Tenet

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of senior administrative or healthcare management experience.

• Experience with budgeting and achieving financial goals in healthcare leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily facility operations including administrative, clinical support, and business functions.
• Serve as liaison between Governing Board, Medical Staff, facility leadership, and USPI Home Office.
• Ensure regulatory, accreditation, quality, and safety standards.
• Develop and manage operating, staffing, and capital budgets.
• Monitor financial performance and address operational risks.
• Oversee staffing, employee performance management, and workforce planning.
• Support physician relationships and credentialing processes.
• Manage vendor, service, and physician contracts.
• Support quality improvement, infection control, and patient experience initiatives.
• Participate in operational reviews and facility performance reporting.
• Identify opportunities for service line development and operational improvement.

United Surgical Partners International, the country’s largest ASC platform is currently seeking a Surgery Center Administrator for Paso Del Norte Surgery Center.

Paso Del Norte Surgery Center is in El Paso, TX. Our facility is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care. Paso Del Norte Surgery Center is a facility in which physicians have an ownership or investment interest. This facility has 5 OR’s and 1 PR. Our state-of-the-art equipment allows surgeons to perform procedures in the specialty areas of Dental, ENT, General Surgery, GI, Orthopedics, OB/GYN, Pain Management, Plastics and Podiatry.

The ideal candidate for this role will either have Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) leadership experience or hospital surgical leadership experience with ASC exposure.

Job Summary

The Administrator is responsible for facility operations, financial performance, quality initiatives, and physician relationships while ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. The Administrator collaborates closely with facility leadership, medical staff, governing boards, and USPI’s Home Office to support consistent operations and sustainable performance.

Experience

• Experience with fully managing a budget and hitting/exceeding financial goals in a healthcare leadership position
