Job description

Our Regional Medical Center in North Carolina (53 miles from Charlotte) is seeking a BE/BC Cardiovascular or Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join a hospital-employed practice with two existing CV Surgeons. Experience is preferred but not required. Call is 1:3. The practice is fully supported by APPs and our large cardiology team.

Required Skill Set:

1. Full scope of adult cardiothoracic procedures
2. Fellowship trained in transcatheter valve and complex aortic surgery
3. TAVR
4. TEVR
5. CABG

We are experienced in caring for patients with a wide range of heart and lung diseases, including heart failure, coronary artery disease, valve disease, and more. Our fellowship-trained cardiovascular surgeons perform both open and minimally invasive techniques, tailoring care to each patient's needs. Surgical procedures are performed at Our Regional Medical Center.

The Regional Heart Center is the first Duke Health heart affiliate in western North Carolina. Backed by Duke Heart Center resources, we have access to Duke training, staff education, evidence-based guidelines, and best practices to enhance cardiovascular care across the Catawba Valley region.
