We are seeking an experienced Board-Certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon to provide locum tenens weekend call and PTO coverage. This opportunity is ideal for a skilled surgeon looking to support a high-quality regional health system with a robust adult and geriatric surgical population.

Provide 24-hour call coverage for adult and geriatric cardiac and thoracic cases.
Perform emergent and elective procedures, including:
CABG
Heart valve repair/replacement
Aortic dissection management
Tube thoracostomy
Pericardial window
Thoracotomy and lung resections
Pneumonectomy
VA and VV ECMO placement
Collaborate with a team of 4 advanced practitioners who rotate to support OR coverage.
Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation and communication.
Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery Required
Successful completion of an ACGME- or AOA-accredited residency and CT fellowship Required
Active Idaho medical license or IMLC license with LOQ Required
ACLS Certification Required
DEA Required
Clean malpractice and background Required
Shift Type: 24-hour call (7 AM 7 AM)
Call Type: In-hospital and phone consults (includes gratis hours)
Holiday Call: 1.5x pay rate
Medical diploma, training certifications
All active medical licenses & DEA
ACLS & BLS cards
Case logs & CME (past 2 years)
Immunization records (TB, COVID, Flu, HepB, Tdap, Varicella)
