Opportunity

This growing hospital system is seeking a BC/BE Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join an existing team of physicians. As one of our anchor services, the group aims to add a 5th Cardiothoracic Surgeon to expand our Integrated Cardiovascular Service Line and enhance our Quaternary care program.

The ideal candidate would be an established physician with experience and interest in adult cardiac and thoracic surgery, minimally invasive robotic techniques, and the ability to work on the arch. Experience in vascular services, TAVR, and/or Endovascular services is a plus. The position is also open to current and recent Fellows.

The scope of practice includes:

• All aspects of Adult Cardiac Surgery, including On and Off-Pump CABG, Mitral Repair, and an active TAVR program.
• Arrhythmia surgery and endovascular and open aortic surgery, including dissection repair.
• Thoracic surgical procedures such as minimally invasive lung resections, transhiatal esophagectomy, and complex anti-reflux procedures.

Practice details:

• Practice, ER, and Hospital Call: 1:4
• Open M-F from 8-5.
• Schedule includes 1 day per week in clinic and 4 days in the OR, managing in-patients daily.

The current team includes:

• 5 Interventional Cardiologists
• 8 Non-invasive/imaging Cardiologists
• 4 Electrophysiologists
• 4 Cardiothoracic Surgeons
• 11 Internal Medicine/Family Medicine physicians
• 1 Vascular Surgeon
