Job description

We are seeking a Breast Surgeon for a practice opportunity near the Philadelphia, PA area

Details are:

1. Call schedule: Physician shall provide call coverage for breast surgery practice patients on a 1:2 (24 hour per day) basis, as needed, and subject to excused absences and the established Breast Surgery call schedule.
2. Work location: Near the Philadelphia area
3. Supporting Staff: RN, MA, Reception, Physician Assistant for OR support and office visit appointments as independent billing providers.
4. Duties of the job: As a breast surgeon, Physician shall perform a full scope of breast consultative and surgical services both inpatient and outpatient at one or more off-campus locations. Assist in maintaining a designation as a Center of Excellence regionally and nationally. Promote compliance with all applicable legal, regulatory, licensing, and accreditation requirements. Maintain appropriate records related to all professional services provided, in accordance with legal and third-party payor requirements.
5. Annual Procedures: Average of 250 procedures per year.
