Job summary

Essen Health Care is seeking a Breast Surgeon to join our Bronx-based multispecialty medical group, serving NYC’s diverse population with integrated care.

You will provide comprehensive diagnosis and surgical treatment for breast conditions, collaborate with oncology, radiology, plastic surgery, and genetics, and participate in tumor boards and quality initiatives to uphold population health standards.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with NY State medical license.
• Board eligible or board certified in General Surgery (American Board of Surgery).
• Breast Surgical Oncology fellowship training strongly preferred or equivalent expertise.

Responsibilities

• Provide screening, diagnosis, and surgical treatment for breast conditions: benign lumps, pain/discomfort, nipple discharge, retractions, areolar changes, and breast cancer stages.
• Oversee multidisciplinary coordination with oncology, radiology, plastic surgery, and genetic counseling for cancer cases.
• In Office biopsies
• Participate in breast cancer tumor boards and quality improvement initiatives consistent with recognized standards (e.g. Commission on Cancer or National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers).
• Teach or mentor other medical professionals as part of Essen s integrated workforce.

Job Summary

Join a well-established Breast Surgery office, close proximity to NYC with our own in-house Radiology Division. We re seeking a skilled Breast Surgeon to provide comprehensive diagnosis and surgical treatment for breast related conditions, aligning with our mission of population health care coordination.

Responsibilities

• Provide screening, diagnosis, and surgical treatment for breast conditions: benign lumps, pain/discomfort, nipple discharge, retractions, areolar changes, and breast cancer stages. Procedures include core biopsy, stereotactic biopsy, excisional biopsy, lumpectomy, and mastectomy.
• Oversee multidisciplinary coordination with oncology, radiology, plastic surgery, and genetic counseling for cancer cases.
• In Office biopsies
• Participate in breast cancer tumor boards and quality improvement initiatives consistent with recognized standards (e.g. Commission on Cancer or National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers).
• Teach or mentor other medical professionals as part of Essen s integrated workforce.

• MD or DO with valid NY State medical license (or eligible for licensure).
• Board eligible or board certified in General Surgery (American Board of Surgery).
• Breast Surgical Oncology fellowship training strongly preferred or equivalent expertise.
