Medicorp, Inc. in Western Kentucky seeks a BE/BC General Surgeon to join a rural community hospital in an employed practice with a guaranteed 3-year salary and RVU bonus potential.

A $50,000 upfront sign-on is offered, and you would join one other General Surgeon with strong specialty backup in a well-equipped facility. The role features 3 operating rooms, an Endoscopy suite, and access to a Da Vinci X Robot.

General Surgery-Western Kentucky

• Employed practice seeks a BE/BC General Surgeon to join their team at their rural community hospital
• Competitive salary with guaranteed 3-year salary plus RVU bonus potential
• 1 other General Surgeon with excellent specialty back up support
• $50,000 upfront bonus
• 15-20 patients per day, 150 cases a month
• Call: 1 week on/1 week off 2-4 cases on average per week
• 3 OR Rooms and 1 Endoscopy room
• Da Vinci X Robot
• Possibility of 7on/7off schedule, currently traditional model
• EMR: EPIC
• Full benefits with 6 weeks PTO/CME, retirement, malpractice with tail and stipend/student loan forgiveness available
• Owensboro and Bowling Green are within 45-60 minutes and 2 hours to Louisville and Nashville
• Owensboro has a regional airport and Louisville and Nashville have international airports
