• Board Certified/Eligible General Surgeon.
• Experience with endoscopic procedures preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.

Responsibilities

Job description / Duties: Bread and butter general surgery with a high percentage of endoscopic procedures, one week of call per month, with very low call backs, and assisting in our Level 4 trauma ER when on call.

Reason for opening (growth vs. replacement?): Replacement for provider leaving. Contract up and family wanted to relocate.

Joining other providers? If so, how many?: Yes, one other General Surgeon who has been with the organization over 9 years.

Days / hours / shifts / weekends / call expectations: 4 days a week - split evenly between clinic and surgery/procedure time. 8hrs of patient scheduled clinic and/or OR/procedure time

EMR system: EPIC

Average patients per day: 15-20

Compensation and Benefits Detail

• $450,000 - $500,000 base salary
• $12,000 Relocation allowance
• Sign on bonus - $10,000 per year of commitment

• Pay for malpractice, license, DEA and required certificates outside of CME.
• 5% contribution to 401 K
