Job summary

Kaiser Permanente Southern California (SCPMG) Orange County is seeking a Board-Certified cardiac surgeon to help build the region's newest CV-ICU program. The role focuses on clinical leadership, program development, and patient-centered care.

You will work with dedicated ORs, anesthesia, nursing and ICU teams, with 24/7 in-house cardiac surgery intensivist support. The growth plan targets ~500 annual cases by year three, with opportunities to shape the program and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Thoracic Surgery is required.
• Preferred: 5 years of cardiac surgery experience.

• Help build Kaiser Permanente Southern California’s newest CV-ICU program in Orange County.
• Collaborate with dedicated cardiac surgery ORs, anesthesia, nursing, and ICU teams.
• Provide leadership and contribute to program design and growth.
• Leverage cross-network collaboration with the Fontana CV-ICU program for best practices.
