Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to support scrub duties and assist in patient care under the supervision of licensed staff in a fast-paced operating room.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, completion of a surgical technology program, and BCLS certification on hire; CST certification is preferred. This role requires teamwork, attention to safety, and the ability to manage tasks across multiple cases.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of Surgical Technology program required.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist required or 3 years of surgical tech experience required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required upon hire.
• CST - Certified Surgical Technologist preferred.

• Performs necessary duties in scrub role.
• Takes on greater responsibility in providing patient care with higher level critical thinking.
• Functions in partnership with licensed staff.
