Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is looking for a Surgical Technologist to join our scrub team. You will assist with sterile techniques and support the surgical staff during procedures in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Education must include a surgical technology program; BCLS is required on hire and CST certification is preferred. Experience in a hospital OR setting is highly valued.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of Surgical Technology program required.

Responsibilities

• Performs necessary duties in scrub role.
• Takes on greater responsibility in providing patient care demonstrating higher level critical thinking and problem solving skills.
• Functions in partnership with licensed staff.
• Performs patient care duties for clients of various age groups under the direction of a registered nurse.
