Job summary

SURVICE Engineering is seeking a Surfaces and Coatings Researcher to support our Aberdeen Research Operation. You will join a defense-focused team and accelerate your career as an integral member of the defense community.

The role involves conducting surface analyses and materials research to develop new organic and ceramic coatings, with emphasis on modifying material surfaces to control adhesion, thermal conduction, and spectral reflection.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Physical Science related field and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Exceptional candidates with less experience will be considered.

• Prepare presentations and written documents summarizing efforts.

• Location: Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD
• Security Clearance: Active Clearance or Eligible to Obtain - U.S. citizenship required
• Salary: $105,000 - $120,000 Depending on Experience and Education
• Travel: 5%

• Recommend courses of action for internal and external Government research collaborations.
• Coordinate, prepare, and maintain supplies, materials, and equipment for use at laboratories.
• Prepare presentations and written documents summarizing efforts

Minimum Qualifications of Biotechnology Researcher for Surfaces and Coatings Researcher
