Job summary

Peninsula Powder Coating Inc. is seeking full-time Production Surface Prep Technicians to join our Baraga, Michigan team.

You will operate equipment to prepare surfaces by removing dirt, rust, old paint, and grease, using pneumatic, electrical, or mechanical tools, and you will also clean blast booths. We offer competitive pay ($16.00-$22.00/hour starting based on experience), a monthly health-insurance stipend, supplemental and life insurance, a 401(k) with 3% company matching, and paid time

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or industrial settings is a plus, but training is provided.
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs safely.
• Forklift operation experience is helpful; company provides training.
• Must be detail-oriented and reliable, with strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to prepare surfaces and remove dirt, rust, old paint, and grease.
• Use pneumatic, electrical, or mechanical tools and clean blast booths.
• Assist in painting and surface prep tasks and ensure quality workmanship.
