Job summary

Loenbro LLC is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator in Arizona to safely operate large mining equipment and support production, overburden removal, and haulage. The role requires adherence to safety policies, inspection routines, and collaboration with dispatch and maintenance teams.

The position emphasizes wearing PPE, following MSHA rules, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives while supporting drilling, blasting, and earthmoving tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• MSHA Part 46 or 48 Surface Miner Training preferred.
• Experience operating heavy equipment in surface mining environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate mining equipment including haul trucks, dozers, excavators, loaders, graders, water trucks, and other support equipment.
• Perform pre-shift and post-shift inspections and complete required equipment inspection reports.
• Safely transport ore, waste rock, overburden, and other materials throughout the mine site.
• Maintain haul roads, access roads, dumps, stockpiles, and work areas.
• Load and unload materials efficiently while minimizing equipment wear and damage.
• Monitor equipment performance and report mechanical issues or safety concerns.
• Follow mine plans, production schedules, radio protocols, and supervisor instructions.
• Assist with drilling, blasting support, reclamation, and earthmoving activities as required.
• Adhere to MSHA regulations and company safety policies and EH&S requirements.
• Participate in safety meetings, training programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate production, inspection, and operational records.
• Work with dispatchers, maintenance personnel, supervisors, and fellow operators.
