Surface Mine Groundsman / Equipment Operator

Western Engineering Co Inc is seeking a dedicated and skilled Surface Mine Groundsman / Equipment Operator to join our team. Your responsibilities will include operating a variety of heavy equipment, maintaining safe working conditions, and assisting in daily site operations. Responsibilities

• Operate heavy machinery, including loaders, excavators, and haul trucks, in a surface mining environment

• Support the mine crew in tasks such as material handling and site cleanup

Requirements

• Previous experience as a groundsman or equipment operator in mining or construction is preferred
• Strong mechanical skills with the ability to operate and maintain heavy machinery

• Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions and adapt to changing environments
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor as required
• High school diploma or equivalent
