This National Guard position is for a SURFACE MAINTENANCE MECHANIC SUPERVISOR, Position Description Number D1294000 and is part of the PA Field Maintenance Shop 10, National Guard. 1 or more Position(s) may be hired against this Announcement.

Key Responsibilities

As a SURFACE MAINTENANCE MECHANIC SUPERVISOR, WS-5801-12, you will plan on a quarterly or longer basis, the overall use of subordinate personnel and resources under their control. Assign and explain work requirements and operating instructions to subordinate supervisors, sets deadlines, and establishes the sequence of work operations to be followed. Assure that subordinate supervisors effectively carry out policies to achieve management objectives.

Develop, publish, and ensure employee compliance with standing operating procedures for the activity supervised. Prepare for and participate in various types of readiness evaluations, inspections, mobilization and command support exercises. Perform other duties as assigned.
