THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.

This National Guard position is for a SURFACE MAINTENANCE MECHANIC SUPERVISOR, Position Description Number D1297000, and is part of the DE Combined Support Maintenance Shop, National Guard.

Military Grades: CW3 thru CW4 and 2LT (O-1) thru MAJ (O-4)

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:

• Must have at least 36 months of experience demonstrating the ability to plan, direct, and organize work assignments for lower-grade personnel.
• Experience reviewing work requirements and establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of various lines of work performed by this function.
• Ability to supervise or potential to perform supervisory duties, including communicating knowledge of supervisory concepts and shop processes.
• Experience in adapting existing equipment and techniques to new situations.
