Job summary

Intrepid Potash seeks an I & E Technician to install, calibrate, maintain and troubleshoot process instrumentation at surface operations. You will handle wiring, drives, motors, PLC/DCS support and safety-focused maintenance.

Requires at least 3 years electrical experience, a high school diploma or GED, and willingness to work 24/7 call-outs. An associate degree in electronics/instrumentation is preferred. Strong documentation and MS Office skills are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum three years electrical experience with troubleshooting.
• Associate degree in electronics or instrumentation preferred with three years of applicable experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and manuals.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Word/Outlook).
• Available for 24/7 call-outs.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day maintenance work orders for surface facility operations.
• Install and repair electrical components and systems including drives, control systems, wiring, instrumentation and motors.
• Assist with maintaining PLC/DCS hardware and install switches.
• Conduct pre-shift inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure safe, efficient operation and report hazards.
• Execute analysis, documentation, installations, checkouts and cost control of projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
