Overview

Job Title: Surface Grinder

We have two openings for a night shift Surface Grinder. This role requires operating a style machine with a reciprocating table and magnetic chucks. The position involves semi-finish grinding operations using abrasive segments, performing setups, detwisting, conducting in-process inspections, and deburring. The ideal candidate should possess a strong aptitude for math, the ability to read precision instruments, and interpret drawings and prints. Reliability in attendance and having dependable transportation are essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate a style machine with a reciprocating table and magnetic chucks.
• Perform semi-finish grinding operations using abrasive segments.
• Conduct setups, detwisting, in-process inspection, and deburring.
• Interpret and read drawings and prints accurately.
• Maintain good attendance and ensure reliable transportation.

Essential Skills

• 1+ years of surface grinding experience.
• Strong math aptitude.
• Ability to read precision instruments and interpret drawings and prints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with crane and Hilo is helpful.
• Owning personal tools is a plus.
• Training will be provided if needed.

Job Type & Location

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
