Qualifications

• AA/AS degree in relevant chemistry or related field with hands-on lab experience.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience; exceptional new graduates considered with research.
• Wet lab experience in academic or industry setting.
• Strong learning speed, urgency, and teamwork in a fast-paced lab.
• Proficiency with common chemistry lab equipment and glassware.

Responsibilities

• Synthesize novel particle formulations in aqueous media.
• Conduct process optimizations to meet internal specifications for downstream performance, stability, and reproducibility.
• Independently execute reactions, assays, QCs and experiments to characterize properties.
• Spend 90% in the lab and 10% in computer work.
• Collaborate with chemists, biochemists, molecular biologists and engineers to drive goals.
• Other duties as assigned.
