Waco Surf in Waco, TX is seeking a vigilant lifeguard for the seasonal team to supervise and protect guests at our dynamic wave park. Responsibilities include maintaining undistracted surveillance, performing rescues within 30 seconds, enforcing park rules with whistle codes, and completing daily opening/closing procedures plus safety checks to ensure a safe, fun environment.

Requirements: minimum 16 years old (18+ preferred), StarGuard Lifeguard Certification (or ability to obtain), and current

Qualificações

• Minimum 16 years of age; 18+ strongly preferred.
• Current StarGuard Lifeguard Certification (or ability to obtain prior to employment).
• Current certification in BLS, Basic First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogens.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain undistracted visual contact with assigned wave zones.
• Identify distress and execute water rescues within 30 seconds.
• Enforce park rules using whistle codes, hand signals, and radios.
• Participate in monthly in-service training and audits.
• Perform daily opening, operating, and closing procedures.
• Conduct safety checks of water areas, decks, and equipment.
• Return equipment to storage and maintain a safe, clean environment.
