Job summary

Philadelphia Insurance Companies, a Tokio Marine Group member, is seeking a Surety Underwriting Specialist to join our team in Seattle, WA, with additional locations in Lonetree, CO or Alpharetta, GA.

Under limited direction, you will underwrite and market assigned products with risk assessment and technical underwriting expertise to determine risk acceptability. A Bachelor's degree and 5+ years' Surety UW experience are required; AFSB designation is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years' related Surety UW experience in P&C Commercial Insurance.
• AFSB designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Underwrites and markets assigned products with risk assessment and technical underwriting expertise.
• Performs marketing activities for business development and relationship building.
• Participates in the producer management process incl. premium collections.
