Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business with emphasis in finance, accounting, or economics.
• Experience in underwriting or financial analysis is preferred.
• Strong communication and detail orientation.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and process renewal bonds.
• Review new and renewal submissions from our agents.
• Determine acceptable risks and adequate pricing within authority levels.
• Support underwriting decisions on all other accounts through file preparation and documentation by gathering information and analyzing and evaluating risk exposure.
• Manage agency requests and communicate directly with the agency to gather needed information.
• Research and gather needed information to understand bond form questions and refer to underwriter and team leader when necessary.
• Act as a resource for team production assistants and assist with processing work as needed.
• Handle special projects and assignments as directed.
